Is there a shortage of affordable rented housing in Bristol?

We came across an interesting article at City Rental Services last week, and thought it would be worth discussing on our rented property blog.

According to this article from the House Building Federation (HBF), there is a shortage of private housing in the UK – to the tune of 200,000 homes nationwide.

The article comes at a time when quality, affordable private rented accommodation is in greater demand than ever before in BS postcodes.

At CRS, we provide an eclectic selection of rented properties in Bristol – ranging from studio flats starting at £400 per month to the usual range of 1,2 and 3 bedroom flats and houses, and catering for professionals as well as students looking for rented accommodation in the city.

We also receive daily visits from letting-only landlords keen to utilize our simple, effective and efficient property letting services. For example, for a one-off fee of only £295 +VAT, CRS will let a property whether the tenants stay for six months or six years.

Our office in BS7, right in the heart of Gloucester Road, combines more than 80 years of rented property experience – and that’s not just from Founder Sue Powell! We have a friendly and knowledgeable team of local letting negotiators on board to help tenants and landlords alike.

If you’re looking for fairly priced rented property in BS6, BS7 or BS8, check out the CRS website for the latest additions to our Professional Tenants List.
